OUR STAFF MEMBERS

The staff members at Center Point are dedicated and committed to sharing the love, mercy and grace of Jesus to all that choose to worship with us.  All are spirit filled and love God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength as we're instructed to in Luke 10:27: "He answered: “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Lead Pastor

Mike Way

Pastor Mike has been married to his wife, Chris, for just over 42 years. His philosophy in ministry is simple: to be the best and most effective Christian one can be by understanding that God has a plan for all of us that extends beyond the 80 or so years we spend on this earth. He believes that we are all created as eternal beings and that what we do here and now will determine our eternity. Pastor Mike's goal as the Lead Pastor is to teach and encourage others to live a well-balanced, Christ-centered life, filled with the Holy Spirit, which he believes is essential for a healthy and productive life on earth and promises an exciting and fulfilling eternal life thereafter.

Mike and Chris have 4 children and 7 grandchildren.

Worship Leader

Jackie Boog & Larry

Jackie and Larry Boog have lived in Charlevoix since the fall of 1986. Jackie currently serves as the Worship Leader and Larry is head of the sound department and projector ministry. Both first came to the Charlevoix Assembly of God in 1992. Jackie has studied music since her early teens and although she has had no formal training in worship leading, she “studied” under the leadership of Steve and Sara Stargardt for many years. One of the philosophies the team as a whole adheres to is that worship is done for an audience of One. And the desire of this team is to keep their hearts focused on the Lord asking Him to lead them as they lead others in worship.  For the glory and the honor of the King.

Larry and Jackie, have 3 children and 3 grandchildren
